Biography:

Victoria McKeller-Peoples is a second-year Ph.D. student and serves as a research assistant with the Center for Black Digital Research, where she contributes to the Colored Conventions Project. Her research examines the social networks of Black Coloradan communities in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, focusing on ideas of home, freedom, and relationships with land. She also has interests in recreation, travel, environmental, and public history.
